We are on the lookout for a numbers geek who finds passion in problem solving. The ideal candidate will independently and expertly carry out EPF/ETF tasks and related HR procedures. They will work well in a dynamic environment and stay true to Villvay’s roots by being highly people centric.

Your role:

  • Maintain HR procedures that align with labor laws and regulations and ensure the organization's adherence to legal requirements
  • Ensure compliance with EPF and ETF regulations by staying up-to-date with the latest requirements and implementing necessary procedures
  • Handle ABH form registrations and prepare C-forms, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines
  • Prepare and submit C forms and ETF returns complying with regulations
  • Establish effective communication, build strong relationships and coordinate with the labor department and CBSL - EPF
  • Assist employees, ex-employees and other stakeholders with HR-related documents
  • Perform and assist in other HR-related tasks when necessary
  • Effectively communicate sensitive information to relevant stakeholders

Required experience:

  • A full or part qualification in HRM or equivalent
  • 7+ years of work experience in a similar capacity
  • Good command of English and Sinhalese communicational skills (written and oral)
  • Reside in Colombo or its surrounding areas to be able to work on site 5 days of the week
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Legal knowledge of Labor Regulations
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of EPF and ETF processes and possess the ability to handle them accurately and efficiently
  • Meticulous attention to detail in performing tasks
  • Capability to deal with sensitive information carefully and confidentially
  • Possess good organization skills
  • Capability to understand, initiate and implement processes within the job scope
  • Exhibit an ability to work with deadlines and requirements set by supervisors
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
