We are on the lookout for a technical expert that will mentor and lead our QA team to rocketing heights. The ideal candidate would cultivate a culture of driven engineers and would set the bar high for QA within Villvay.

Your role:

  • Lead and manage the Quality Engineering team by setting up goals and objectives
  • Develop test strategies to achieve company objectives and implement governing process
  • Define test methodologies, tools and best practices to ensure that high quality delivery
  • Be obsessed with finding new ways to improving testing efficiency
  • Develop test automation framework and leverage test automation in testing
  • Mentor and coach Quality Engineers
  • Negotiate overall quality standards with development teams and other business stakeholders
  • Ensure Quality related SLAs are met, and timely interventions are made in case of not meeting SLAs
  • Maintain an open and collaborative culture with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain open and effective communication channels with relevant stakeholders
  • Become an ambassador of Villvay’s values when representing the company to the stakeholders

Required experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in a quality engineering role with a minimum 2 years of experience in a QE leadership position
  • Strong knowledge in Quality Engineering process and ability to implement the Quality Engineering process
  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, test automation scripting, and experience in leveraging test automation testing
  • Experience in automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, REST assured, Appium, and TestNG
  • Experience in risk based testing and risk mitigation
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience and knowledge of test methodologies (Unit, Functional Testing, Component Testing, Integration Testing) and needed tools
  • Experience in CI\CD-related technologies like Jenkins, Maven, etc.
  • Experience in defining test strategies and test plans
  • Experience with SDLC/STLC or Agile processes
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in team management, people management and growth management
  • Be a go-to person in the team and be able to guide and develop/mentor juniors
