Talent Development Lead

We are on the lookout for a driven leader who finds passion in the growth and development of Villvay’s people and can succeed in an evolving PeopleOps strategy. The ideal candidate will optimise the performance evaluation process and kick-start Villvay’s learning and development initiatives. Staying true to our people-first approach, this candidate should be able to personalise growth plans for every Villvay individual.

Your role:

  • Review the current performance management processes, establish and manage the performance appraisal system
  • Update duly to achieve industry standards and make it relevant to Villvay
  • Understand Villvay’s core values and represent them in all aspects of work
  • Take the lead to foster a learning and development culture where employees are continuously engaged in systematic and ad hoc L&D initiatives across the company
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programmes and make necessary adjustments and improvements needed
  • Prepare succession planning for respective departments
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify performance gaps and develop solutions to address them
  • Build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to enable effective dialogue and exchange between departments.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in performance management and learning development
  • Analyse data and metrics to measure the impact of performance management and learning development programmes
  • Deliver an international standard of learning and development experience
  • Synergise with creative and marketing teams and heads across all departments as and when required
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive OKR implementation plan
  • Train and coach teams on how to set effective OKRs
  • Monitor progress towards goals, and update the executive leadership
  • Involve in strategising employee engagement activities
  • Become an ambassador of Villvay’s values when representing the company to the candidates

Required experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in performance management and learning development; overall 7 years of HR experience
  • A highly driven individual who takes pride in meeting goals
  • Ability to adapt and be open to learning from team members and leads
  • Ability to understand, initiate and implement processes whilst operating in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with relevant department team leads and members.
  • A strong understanding of performance management processes and techniques
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programmes in the tech industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Show accountability in performance management and L&D
  • Experience in the software industry

Added advantages:

  • Any professional or academic qualification in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • Experience with performance management software
  • Effective project management skills to plan, organise, and execute learning and development initiatives on time and within budget.
