Your role:

  • Serve as a member of the leadership team and contribute to shaping the company vision and strategy, collaborating with cross-functional leaders to drive organizational success.
  • Serve as a senior advisor on pivotal matters concerning people and culture, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive talent strategies to enhance performance, foster development and learning, and ensure retention throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Lead the establishment of a high-performing People Operations team, inspiring excellence and setting a standard for other departments.
  • Align training programs with organisational goals and employees’ individual career aspirations and lead learning and development efforts to provide employees with opportunities for growth and skill enhancement.
  • Drive talent acquisition strategies and cultivate an appealing employer brand to attract top-tier talent and position Villvay as an employer of choice.
  • Elevate existing onboarding processes to maximise effectiveness in integrating new hires, accelerating their time to productivity, and fostering a culture of engagement and belonging.
  • Provide training and coaching on effective OKR setting, monitor progress towards goals, and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
  • Establish clear expectations for evaluators and provide comprehensive training to equip them with the necessary skills and tools to conduct fair and effective performance assessments.
  • Cultivate a feedback-rich culture, taking charge of formal performance management processes to drive improvement and accountability at all levels.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies aimed at identifying and addressing key factors influencing employee turnover, ultimately enhancing employee satisfaction and longevity within the organization.
  • Using tactful strategy to make the right decisions, even if they are tough, to off-board team members when needed to support the long-term success of the business and its workforce.
  • Promote a data-driven decision-making approach, delivering actionable insights to support informed decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Spearhead succession planning initiatives for Villvay's high performers, working closely with team leads to identify performance gaps and develop targeted solutions.
  • Oversee comprehensive total rewards and benefits programs, exploring innovative options to meet the evolving needs of a growing team.
  • Ensure all people operations activities comply with legal requirements and industry standards while pioneering progressive strategies to stay ahead of HR norms and industry trends.

Required experience:

  • Expertise in leading people operations functions for over 5+ years in progressive organisations, preferably within the software industry, backed by a total of 10+ years in HR.
  • A deep interest in understanding human behaviour coupled with sound judgment, and a passion for fostering a conducive and empathetic work environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in legal HR compliance, ensuring organisational adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Experience collaborating with international teams committed to achieving exceptional standards.
  • Experience in the software industry and the enthusiasm to thrive in.
  • A highly motivated people-driven mindset with the drive to achieve goals and inspire a culture of excellence and strong work ethic within the team.
  • A forward-thinking initiator skilled in strategic creativity, quickly adapting to shifting priorities. Experience deploying dynamic processes and continuous learning to maintain smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with department leads and team members, fostering collaboration and synergy.
  • The ability to analyse, select, and implement performance management software tailored to Villvay's needs, optimising team efficiency.
