We’re looking for a delivery strategist who can strengthen Villvay’s foundation for scalable, repeatable delivery excellence. You’ll oversee key enterprise engagements, refine delivery frameworks, and coach teams to improve predictabilty and performance. This role is ideal for someone ready to shape delivery culture in a growing environment-balancing hands-on involvement with the long-term vision of how Villvay scales client success.

Role

• Oversee delivery excellence across multiple enterprise programs, ensuring predictable outcomes and scalable success.
• Partner with technical and business leadership to define delivery strategy, success metrics, and governance models.
• Establish and evolve a data-driven delivery culture — tracking metrics like velocity, quality, and client satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.
• Build trusted relationships with client executives, acting as their strategic advisor on program health, priorities, and growth opportunities.
• Coach and mentor project managers and tech leads on planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Anticipate risks and interdependencies early — driving alignment and proactive solutions across cross-functional teams.
• Drive process excellence — optimizing estimation, sprint health, and delivery cadence across projects.
• Collaborate closely with Villvay’s Search and Data Systems teams to integrate emerging technology into client programs.
• Contribute to pre-sales, proposals, and delivery roadmaps, ensuring feasibility and long-term client value.
• Foster a purpose-driven, people-first culture, balancing results with empathy and collaboration.

Core Requirements

• 12-15 years of experience in software delivery, with at least 5+ years managing enterprise-level projects or portfolios.
• Proven track record leading complex digital transformation programs in eCommerce or enterprise software.
• Deep understanding of agile delivery, resource planning, and cross-functional coordination.
• Strong technical fluency — able to engage with architects and translate complexity for business stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability; comfortable navigating ambiguity while maintaining delivery clarity.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing distributed teams and ensuring global delivery alignment.
• The ability to lead diverse teams and handle complex interpersonal situations.
• The ability to read between the lines and evaluate underlying needs and requirements when communicating with clients.
• A fanatical commitment to delivering the best customer experience.
• Good problem-solving, decision making and analytical skills.
• A genuine interest in getting to know Villvay’s clients, products and vision.
• The ability to understand, initiate and implement processes within a dynamic environment.
• An unfailing attention-to-detail and impeccable organisation and prioritisation skills.
