Your role:

Develop and maintain robust mobile applications using React Native with Expo for iOS and Android platforms.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and user experience.
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to industry best practices.
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
Staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile development.
Work closely with the client as part of the team to convert business requirements into functionality.

Degree in Computer Science or related field.
At least 1.5 years of experience in React Native development.
Strong fundamentals in React/Front-end.
Experience in the Expo framework.
Firm grasp of JavaScript and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript/TypeScript code.
Basic understanding of state management, including client (sync) and server (async) state.
Understanding of REST APIs.
Proficient understanding of Git.
Experience in TypeScript.

Knowledge of the composability pattern in React.
Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
Experience with native android and iOS app development.
Experience in the Expo Router.
Experience in EAS (Expo Application Services).
Prior experience in writing TypeScript with strict mode and other rules that increase strictness.
Knowledge of concurrent rendering in React.
Familiarity with tools such as pnpm, ESLint.
Knowledge of Monorepos like Turborepo.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines.
Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest along with React Testing Library.
