Role Overview

We’re looking for an analytically sharp Associate Business Analyst to support our BA and Solutioning Team working on Villvay Search — our intelligent B2B search and product discovery solution powering enterprise eCommerce experiences.

As search experiences evolve from product and document search to AI-assisted discovery, the work behind shaping those solutions demands curiosity, research, and the ability to connect the dots across complex data, business rules, and client needs.

This role is for someone who thinks beyond the obvious, genuinely enjoys getting to the bottom of a problem, and naturally questions, researches, and thinks laterally to help shape practical, scalable solutions.

Role

• Support requirement discovery sessions, capturing context given during client meetings and helping shape how problems are framed.
• Research and map feature requirements, understanding both the business intent and the technical landscape, including developing a strong grasp of the emerging capabilities of the Search product.
• Translate solutionized problems into structured inputs: user stories, requirement drafts, process flows, and supporting documentation.
• Support the execution that keeps the solution effort moving by coordinating across internal teams, engineering, QA, and delivery and assisting the BA and Solution Leads when needed.
• Develop a working knowledge of Villvay Search and how it's used across client environments.
• Become an ambassador of Villvay’s values when representing the company to its stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Business Analysis within a technology or digital solutions environment
• Strong analytical thinking, lateral thinking, and problem-breakdown capability, with the ability to connect the dots across business problems, client needs, and technical possibilities to see beyond what's stated to what's actually needed.
• Ability to independently research and synthesize information to support solutionizing, whether that's understanding a new technology, mapping a competitor approach, or building context before a discovery session.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Genuine curiosity about technology, digital products, and eCommerce.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments.
