We’re looking for a data-driven innovator who can teach B2B eCommerce search systems to think smarter. You’ll experiment with embeddings, transformers, and ranking models to help buyers find exactly what they’re looking for — even in complex enterprise catalogs. From clickstream analysis to A/B testing, you’ll turn behavioral data into intelligent, self-improving search systems that deliver precision and delight.
Role
- Turn data into intelligence — building models that help search results “understand” user intent.
- Experiment with embeddings, transformers, and ranking algorithms to improve precision and relevance.
- Design and run A/B experiments that shape how search evolves based on user behavior.
- Collaborate with backend and data engineering teams to operationalize ML pipelines at scale.
- Analyze clickstream data and user journeys to build adaptive, data-driven search systems.
- Explore new frontiers in personalization, recommendation, and contextual search experiences.
- Ensure models are explainable, measurable, and directly tied to business outcomes.
- Contribute to the long-term vision of making search smarter, faster, and more human.
Core Requirements
- 4–7 years of total experience, with 2–3 years in Machine Learning or NLP-focused roles.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Strong understanding of vector search, semantic embeddings, and transformer models (e.g., BERT, Sentence-BERT).
- Experience designing A/B experiments, analyzing CTR, recall/precision, and model metrics.
- Solid data-handling skills: ETL, SQL, data wrangling, and feature engineering.
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
- Ability to communicate technical results in clear, outcome-oriented ways.
Added Advantages
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or FAISS for vector retrieval.
- Experience with recommendation systems and learning-to-rank models.
- Exposure to data pipelines (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
- Prior experience in productionizing ML models in SaaS or B2B environments.
